De rieker molen – the Rieker mill and statue of Rembrandt in Amstel park, south side of Amsterdam

Windmolen en boot – windmill and boat. This is the windmill of Ouderkerk just south of Amsterdam on the Amstel river. There are 8 other windmills in Amsterdam city.

Lezing in het venster – reading in the window – if you don’t have a yard, catch the sun wherever you can. (next to the Skinny bridge on Amstel at Nieuwe Kerkstraat)

Magerebrug – Magere means slim or skinny. That is why this bridge is nicknamed the “Skinny Bridge” there is another one just like it, very close to it. This is right in front of my house.
