It’s still cold and none of the snow or ice is wanting to melt in these temperatures.
So, to avoid going stir-crazy I bundled up and wandered around with my camera
in the -11 degree sunny weather (ok,,, partly cloudy) and ended up having a beer
in the new “de Prael” brewery (brouwerij)

- Sign painted on the side of a cafe on the Zeedijk (say-dike – meaning Sea-dike)
- Giant Kimi doll in the window of the Dun Yong Chinese shop
- Frozen Geldersekade looking at the Nieuwmarkt from the Stormsteeg bridge
- Tour boats gotta get paid, so they continue to plow through the ice.
- Waterfowl traffic jam on the Zwanengurgwal entrance to the Raamgracht
- Waterlooplein game shop roll-down door decoration
- Self-promotion by graffiti artist “Artik” on the wall of the Hell’s Angels support shop.
- Tribute to a fallen graffiti artist “High” on the wall near the Waterlooplein Hell’s Angels support shop.
- Amsterdam is ful of wildlife. Tracks of a rat in the snow.





















Hehe ) maybe the rat was from hell, but these 2 pieces of graffiti have nothing to do with hell’s angels.
High was a “well known” amsterdam graffiti writer, …Artik still lives, but is not riding his bike.
