Woke up to a dark sky and patch clouds flowing westward toward Germany. As the sun rises, the fog lifts. Might turn out to be another glorious day.
This morning it was very foggy, but the sun broke through to reveal another glorious sunny day in Amsterdam.
It started last night. The warm temperature of the water combined with the dropping winter temperature and high humidity have made rolling steam across the top of the water.
Today’s the day that Sinterklaas arrives in Amsterdam on his steamboat from Spain.\ I was there to witness his arrival, and the chaos that surrounds it. Hope you were good this year, because he’s here!
