On my lunch I walked down the street to see if I could find any presents…. after all, it is the holiday season.
I only saw the normal weirdness of the Waterlooplein flea market. So after work, I metro’ed it down to Arena
and visited the monstrous shops there. It’s pretty at night!
The humidity is still high, making the spider webs heavy with moisture.
Someone smelled burning plastic at the neighbours, so the Brandweer had to break in to investigate.
False alarm, but it drew quite a crowd.
Also, another film crew was filming someone on the street here. No idea who he is.
Had to Greenwheels it to a little town in the middle of nowhere to pick up a bike,
but in the middle of nowhere, it seemed to be flying day.
There was a pack of ultralites and a hot-air balloon, all together amongst the seagulls.
Hot-air balloon flying over the Bemmel, gateway to Arnhem.
Ultralite flying over the Bemmel countryside.
Had to go pay a bill across town and this is what is happening along the way.
Today the mist fell on Amsterdam but the city is gearing up for the holidays.
It’s so nice to see the beautiful lights hanging in the mist.
Woke up to a dark sky and patch clouds flowing westward toward Germany.
As the sun rises, the fog lifts. Might turn out to be another glorious day.
